Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual Warfare, Scripture, Using the Source; God, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit!

This scripture states clearly that we as Christ Disciples have to endure through tests and temptations.
You can not have a peaceful coexistence with the enemy. Sooner or a later your walk with Jesus Christ will be tested, and either the enemy will steal from you joy, peace of mind, confidence in The Lord, or many things God gives us. Lets look at things God gave us, that our known enemy does not want us to have.
1. All Grace Second Corinthians 9:8 declares, “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” Grace is unmerited love and divinely imparted ability. There is no limit to the amount of grace available flowing from the throne of God. Grace is just as infinitely inexhaustible as the God who gives it. God only requires that His people exhibit: (1) faith (Eph. 2:8), (2) humility (1 Pet. 5:5) and (3) sincere love (Eph. 6:24). If these attitudes are in us and abound, the deep river of divine grace will abound toward us.
Now, having found “Grace” through the Gospel of Jesus Christ as you may go back thinking about the very first time you felt “Grace” you may soon also remember where you felt ashamed, guilty, and without cause even. The enemy seeks to destroy the very thing Christ Gave, His own Life! Every person on the road as a disciple becomes a prime target to win back, falling into flesh, temptation, sin.
2. Divine Help Hebrews 2:17-18 explains concerning Jesus, “In all things it behooved Him to be made like His brothers, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, having been tempted, He is able to aid those who are being tempted.” How comforting it is to know that in our temptations and trials, the Lord Jesus is sympathetic and ready to assist us in our journey! He is compassionate and committed. Having faced every same temptations that we face in this world, He understands our plight and stands ever ready to help us, even to the point of marshaling the host of heaven.
Can you Imagine a host of Angels from the Lord coming down on your very behalf? There would be a great question why it takes Angelic armies to fight with us on our behalf when we can not.
3. Power to Stand Two scriptures relay this excellent promise two different ways. First, Jude 24 says, “Unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” The most noticeable revelation from this verse is that it is God’s great joy to uphold His people and render them blameless in His sight. If that will be the case in the great day of resurrection (as this verse foretells), it is certainly the case even now. The second Scripture, Romans 14:4, warns: “Who are you to judge another man’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand: for God is able to make him stand.” The one says God is able to “keep us from falling”; the other, that God is able to “make us stand”—so one way or the other, we are going to survive with the God of heaven on our side.
Also! 1 Corinthians 16:13 Tells us, be on guard; stand firm it the faith; be courageous; be strong
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the Devil
1 Peter 5:9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world
4. Preservation Paul said, “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that day” (2 Tim. 1:12). Notice that God can only keep what we place under His authority. Only if we give Him all our hearts and lives can we expect such blessed security. “That day” may refer to the Day of Judgment; then again, it may refer to those days when it seems calamity and confusion knock at our door.

To preservation and also Salvation We are Given so much when coming to the cross
5. Salvation Jesus is revealed in the Scripture as the great High Priest, the great Intercessor, who constantly searches our hearts and “ever lives” to make intercession for us “according to the will of God” (Rom. 8:27). Because of this, Hebrews 7:25 announces, “He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him.” Nothing can withstand or thwart His prayers for those who walk in covenant with Him.When God announces His intention to save us, it covers every negative thing to be faced in this world: He will save us from sin, from satanic powers, from mental and emotional distress, from failures, from sickness, from death, from the grave and from eternal destruction. He is ever interceding over us, and the Father never fails to answer His appeals.
6. Incredible Provision “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph. 3:20). Notice this release of incredible blessing hinges on the power that is within us—the power of faith, the power to imagine possibilities, expect the miraculous and praise God in advance for their fulfillment. Notice, however, that God declares He is not bound just to the limits of our expectations but is able to go far beyond what we can even conceive possible. What a promise! Let it be so, Lord!
7. Final Glorification“For our citizenship is in heaven; from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall transform our lowly body, that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself” (Phil. 3:20-21).

There is a spiritual war, around us, and also within us. Thus being born of the Spirit we are waging war against our own old nature.
Now that we have seen how far God goes for us, now I think its important that we revert back to Scripture that empowers us, to stand against evil, to speak against it and use Power to combat the Enemy of this age. {2 Tim 2:3} “ you therefor must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” We need Endurance, to withstand against Him our Enemy, and even after in verse 4 “ No one Engages in warfare entangles Himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted Him as a soldier” {Psalms 139:21 & 22}”David spoke these words, “ Do I not hate them, O Lord who hate you? And do I not Loathe those who rise up against You? 22. I hate them with perfect hatred I count them my enemies” We need to have a perfect hatred toward Wickedness.
In Spiritual warfare you cant cast out evil, or bind evil if you are not under the Blood of Jesus Christ. Praying for the blood of Jesus to cover you and protect you is completely different, in-fact that is a step to the process to always remaining Pure in His sight, and also to prepare to Engage the Enemy in your Life. Knowledge mentioned in {2 Cor. 2:11} talks about us as believers not being ignorant to the devices of our enemy. “ Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
As we prepare to go to work in today’s age, we learn facts about what Job we are going to be doing right? If I was going to be painting a deck, I needed to know how big the deck is ?What kind of wood was it build with? Has it been painted before? Questions that Only the one who has enlisted you to do that Job.
We As Christian Disciples, Listen for knowledge from God, asking in faith and through the Holy Spirit only things God can Answer, especially when God is or calling us into Warfare. Lets carry on, were going to need these last two things as well Journey on the road in Warfare against the enemy. Persistence {Psalms 18:37} “ I have (pursued) my enemies and (overtaken) them… lets break this down, David is saying he pursued them, He did not just stand against them NO! He went to them, face to face with the Enemy. He said and Overtaken them, (Past tense) so he is claiming victory and proclaiming their Defeat! It takes Davids Persistence to not only want to endure the hard ships, and having a perfect hatred for the wickedness, also knowing of the enemies tricks, being filled with that kind of knowledge to engage the enemy, passing over them victoriously. Glory to God cause only the Strength of the Holy Spirit can allow you to do such a things day to day, dealing with this day and age. Which brings me to a point of How we keep the Holy spirit dwelling inside of us, and being able to use that to muster through the hard ships against that thief, old serpent the devil. Separation believe it or not, is what keeps us Holy. Separation from the flesh, separation of this world, separation to ungodly lifestyles, separation from impure thoughts, and actions. Mentioned earlier {2 Tim 2:14} “No man who warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life” {Numbers 16:21} “Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly” {Leviticus 20:23-26} “Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which i will drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them. This can clearly state to us, and we can use this for correction and reproof for our lives, instructions for this life right?
Take a look at the word Nation in the verse coming out of Leviticus. Nation also can mean several things. na·tionˈnāSH(ə)n/nounnoun: nation; plural noun: nations
  1. a large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.”leading industrialized nations”synonyms:country, sovereign state, state, land, realm, kingdom, republic; More
    • a North American Indian people or confederation of peoples.
Now were reading the word of God, We are speaking in Spiritual and physical terms here. We are enlisted in a Spiritual Army. Gods word calls us Soldiers. 2 Timothy 2:3 Here in Jeremiah 51: 20 God is speaking about destruction of Babylon. Verse 20 “You are my battle axe and weapons of war; for with you I will break the nation in pieces” We also talking about being separated from a Spiritual Master right? The flesh is a physical thing yes, but in the terms the Word Of God is stating, Spiritually we are partaking against God, his rule, his kingdom, his land his Realm. His Nation. We are Separating ourselves from Him. Like wise to Us as followers in Christ, we are Spiritually Fighting and against a kingdom, rule or realm of Darkness, Flesh, carnal things and thinking. So In warfare I have used the Old Testament Scriptures as affirmations in my life, such as 2 Chronicles 11:1 Lord I am your end times warrior Use me as your Weapon against the Enemy! Just Like you can relate to Jeremiah 29:11 God Speaking to us “For I know the plans (thoughts) I have for you” When I have encountered spiritual Attack the Word Of God Period is the sword. It is the Spirit, the words God Himself Spoke and His Power Lives in them.
So we are all clear, the Invisible “Nations” or Kingdoms, are Heaven and Hell. Here are some Scripture In affirmations declaring the Word Of God Living in this Reality, Us in this age as Disciples. {Psalms 144:1} “ Lord, teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight! Fasting, and Prayer. (Studying the Word trains my fingers to war.)
{2 Cor. 10:4} “The weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty through You to the pulling down of Strongholds” Its through Him Our Savior Jesus Christ we are Giving Power to pull down strongholds, fortresses and walls to Nations! Here is a great one! “Let all the enemies that make war with the Lamb be destroyed” {Rev. 17 :14}
Once we are Born again, into the Kingdom of God, we can enforce Gods Victory in our lives, by speaking Scripture! We are Spiritual apart of a bigger body, that is in a network of powers. The body or Church “bride” of Christ! We are not warring against people, nations that are in the physical realm, that only provides death and separation, pain, and hate, which is fruits of the enemy! No we are Warriors, Soldiers and Children of the Most High.
Most Know this Scripture {Ephesians 6:12}For we wrestle against not flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age.
We are called to be a Holy Nation, 1 Peter 2:9; to be Holy we must be separated and not ignorant to devises of the enemy. We were not called into the message of the Gospel to stumble and not receive it. “Let us Offer ourselves to GOD as those who have been brought from Death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness” {Rom. 6:13} We are apart of God, His body, His army, His Nation, His Rule. Let Us {1 Timothy 6:12} “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses”

Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved!! Romans 10:13
It is Through Christ Jesus that we are giving the Holy Spirit {Acts 5: 32} “ We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom is Given by God to those who obey Him.”
{2 Corinthians 1: 20-22} “ For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Now he which establish us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
God bless you, and keep you enduring till the end,
Amen
