📯A Word For The Body Of Christ:
📯We cannot speak grace and mercy and forgiveness, striving after holiness in repentance in order to perfect ourselves for ourselves, for GOD, or for others that we love if we then turn our back around and begin to gripe and complain about not seeing the fruit of our labor instantaneously. For if we strive so hard to better ourselves, studying the Word, reading books, praying more intensely, doing devotions, trying with all of our might to change or to improve and we are not doing it truly for the greater glory of GOD in us and through us despite if we see with our eyes the reward or the fruits of our labor before us… but then sit there and murmur and complain saying “well, I’m not going to do all of this anymore and try so hard since I don’t see instant change”… where is the trust and faith and honor in that…? Where is the glory in that…?
📯We must walk by faith and not by sight, believing in GOD with all of our heart that all of our efforts to better ourselves working in repentance will bring forth a harvest ripe and plentiful. We cannot sit there and do all of these things also speaking with our mouth all of the things we are doing to change and to grow and to be better and then complain about it and dare to even mention the thought of giving up because “it just ain’t working”. We cannot sit there and point out “all that we are doing” to others making it how obvious it is showing ourselves and our deeds as a spectacle to be witnessed and noticed, for that is vain glory: We must do what we do in secret so that The LORD can reward us openly. Others WILL take notice of true change of heart through Christ. If we are striving and striving to make ourselves to be seen before others and boast in ourselves, then that is our reward and that is PRIDE. It’s in His Word. There is no other reward for this type of behavior, and GOD also hates pride.
📯We must give it time for these things to be made manifest. A relationship with GOD or with anyone is not 50/50. It’s 100/100. GOD always gives 100% all the time in every way, and if you’re the one giving 100% and you see your spouse or the other person only giving 75% or 50% and you’re calculating who’s giving more or doing more… you can’t just back off or give up or even think about giving up or stopping all that you are doing. Don’t sit there and judge with pride in your heart who’s doing more and what the other person is not doing that you are, or point out the flaws in the other and what they’re not doing right. This is pride at its finest. Pride is the main reason 1/3 of the angels fell from heaven. Focus on your own relationship with GOD in sincerity and He will grow you. It’s His job to grow you and mature you as you chase hard after Him. Seek Him diligently in prayer (and in fasting if you want true real change quickly) and make your requests to be made known unto Him and He will perform it according to His perfect will for your life!
📯GOD can do ALL THINGS, and through your diligent prayers and hard passionate pursuit of Him, He will melt the other persons’ heart and change them too. He hears and answers the prayers and the cries of the righteous, and He does not forsake His children. Miracles happen through praying and believing in Him and by walking in solid faith unwavering under all circumstances. For without faith it is impossible to please Him. He so desires to bless you and to make you a testimony for His glory! He cannot do that if we are trying to take the glory for ourselves, and honestly, we discourage others involved if all we’re doing is griping and complaining about how nothing is changing and threatening to just give up. This pushes the ones we love further from us when we are only trying to make them come closer to us. Love does not work this way. Pursue peace and love. TRUE peace and TRUE love. If you desire something from someone you love, take the initiative to make the first step toward them and toward The LORD, and when done in true love and sincerity, everything will fall into place, and don’t keep a tally on how many times you’ve been the one to take that first step or make that first move. Love takes no record of wrongs, but pride does. Love gives, and gives, and gives, and keeps on giving. Always be the one to make the first move and set forth the example showing the desire of what is in your heart. This kind of love is contagious, it will spill over onto others around you and you will reap the rewards of being a true lover and a true giver. Don’t get discouraged or frustrated when it doesn’t go our way, because in doing this we tend to lash out and say things we truly don’t mean that hurts others around us that we love, threatening with words that we cannot take back. There is death and life in the power of the tongue and those who love it eat the fruit thereof.
📯If all that you are doing is being done in truth and in love, in honor and in real sincerity of the innermost desire to change and to be better for yourself and for The LORD first, then don’t be so quickly discouraged if it seems nothing ever goes your way even while you are doing all that you are doing. If you’re quick to burst out in frustration over things not going your way or how you think it should go because you are doing so much to change… this is not truly trusting in The LORD that He will do it. You’re trying to gain favor and rewards through your own works and not by The LORD’s hand granting it. Little children, whatever you do… don’t complain or murmur about any “good deed” that you do. Don’t gripe in frustration when something doesn’t turn out the way you intended or expected it to. Continue in passionate shameless persistence and pursuit. So many marriages end in divorce because of these things, even many Christian marriages. Many friendships are broken and bridges are burned because of the things we say when we do not bridle our tongue but instead just let our mouth fly… for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If our heart is not yet fully changed and made clean through Christ, then carefully intently watch what you say until He finishes that perfect work in you and your tongue is bridled. We should always be slow to anger and not quick tempered even in “frustration”. Think before you speak. Is it life? Or is it death? You can and will lose someone that you love by doing these things. I’ve seen it and I’ve been through it. The only One we know will never leave us nor forsake us is The LORD, and praise His Holy Name for that!
📯GOD kept the children of Israel in the wilderness for 40 years because of one thing: their constant complaining. GOD hates it when His children are complainers, and that story is in the Bible for us today as a shadow of why He does not tolerate complaining and just what He will do and take away if we continue in our complaining. He does not like it, nor bickering nor arguing over these things. He will postpone or even take away the blessing that was being stored up for us if we are not careful! Give it up to Him and just continue on in your pursuit of The LORD and allow Him to change you as you work out repentance through godly sorrow in Christ. It is not we who change ourselves, it is GOD Who works on us as the Master Potter as we submit to Him giving Him the reigns of our heart and full control. We can do nothing of our own on our own. WE NEED JESUS! He is the Only Way. These are not easy things to do, but with Christ within us we can do ALL THINGS. Sometimes… it does take time. Remember this, and stay focused on GOD through it all!
📯”If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”📯
📯”For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”📯Philippians 2:13-16📯
📯”Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”📯Ephesians 4:29-32📯
📯”Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.”📯James 5:8-9📯
📯”Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.”📯1 Corinthians 10:9-10📯
📯”Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished.”📯Proverbs 16:5📯
📯”A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.”📯Proverbs 29:23📯
📯”Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”📯Proverbs 16:18📯
📯”The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”📯Proverbs 8:13📯
📯”For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”📯Galatians 6:3📯
📯”And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched. And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.”📯Numbers 11:1-3📯
📯”Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left. Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea. Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness. To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips. They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.”📯
