The LORD is rich in mercy and grace, and His goodness flows from His throne forever. His tender mercies are new every morning, and praise be to GOD for this: for if it were not for His abundant tender mercies, I would not have any good thing nor would I even be alive. His mercy has kept me from death and hell when that is what I most assuredly deserved. He is so good! Let us cry out unto Him in our time of need for His abundant mercy and grace, for He will give grace and glory unto those who walk uprightly, withholding no good thing from us. According to the multitude of His tender mercies He has blotted out our transgressions which hold us accountable to death without His mercy. Let us cry out to Him to be washed from our iniquity by the Blood of Jesus which cleanses us as white as snow from our sin. Let us acknowledge our sins before Him and confess them unto others that there may be healing within. May our sins be ever before us as a reminder of who we once were while in bloodguiltiness and in condemnation, that He has pulled us up from the lowest hell and has thrown our sins as far is the east is to the west, remembering them no more. And there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ!
When we sin, we sin against GOD first and foremost. We have all done evil in His sight, and He is El Roi: He is GOD Who sees us. He sees all things and there is no thing done in secret that is hidden from His sight. Let us not be ignorant of this and be ever mindful as we go throughout our day that we are under covenant agreement with The LORD Jesus Christ and we have to uphold our part in that covenant. It is not just “once saved always saved”. That is a lie. If that were truth then we could just “get saved” and then live like the heathen of this world and not worry about the consequences of anything that we do. No. That is not how it goes. GOD desires truth in our inward parts and He will give us wisdom in our secret heart that is hidden in Him. Let us ask Him to purge us with hyssop that we may be clean and to wash us daily. Jesus is coming back for a spotless pure Bride without spot nor wrinkle nor blemish. To be spotless is to be found guiltless without sin walking in holiness and in righteousness. Sanctified and set apart. We are called to be Holy as He is Holy, otherwise His Word would not say so. His Word is Sovereign Truth. We must ask Him to create within us a clean heart, to give us a new heart; to take this heart of stone and give us a new heart of flesh and renew a right spirit within us. In this He causes us to hear joy and gladness in our bones which at one time He has broken, in this we rejoice!
We must seek His face with our whole heart for it is there that we shall find Him and we must plead with Him to never cast us away from His presence, and to never take His Holy Spirit away from us! It is absolutely possible for us to grieve and to quench His Holy Spirit if we continue on in sin after He has done all of this for us. We quench His Spirit by not feeding our spirits with His Word, instead feeding our flesh and denying His Spirit free movement and control over our members. When we deny His Spirit the right to move within us and through us and we surpress Him, this is quenching His Fire and this is something His Word warns us not to ever do! We must be ever mindful that we grieve The LORD when we walk in disobedience and use our vessels in dishonor. Our body is His Temple, and a Holy GOD cannot abide in a defiled temple. His Spirit can depart from us, and this is something we never want to happen! We must ask The LORD to restore unto us the joy of our salvation and to uphold us with His Spirit: Where the Spirt Of The LORD is there is FREEDOM! We must keep a repentant heart always. Before The LORD I would rather have a broken heart than a heart of stone. In such a time of wicked lawlessness it is all too easy to become as hard as stone. This displeases Jesus. If we truly aim to please Him, to follow Him, to work for Him, to submit to Him, and to live only for Him we must remain broken and contrite, humble, yet also as bold as a lion, as wise as a serpent, and as peaceful as a dove. We are slaves to Christ when we love Him with our whole heart! To be a slave to Christ is to not be a slave to sin. A person is either one or the other.
This is what the true Christian walk must look like, and when we walk accordingly to His Word we attract others to His Light and sinners come to seek Him in repentance for His great love, tender mercy, and abundant grace. How can we bring the lost and backslidden unto a Holy GOD unless we mirror Him in truth? We are called to be the salt and the light of this world so that this dying world bound by a curse may have the most blessed hope that we have: Jesus Christ and His gift of eternal salvation. We must ask Him to deliver us from all blood-guiltiness so that our tongue may sing of His great salvation and righteousness! Let us sing forth praise to our GOD, The Most High King of Heaven and all of Earth for His great tender mercies and compassionate grace! He is so amazing! Let us ever be broken before Him always coming to Him with a broken and contrite heart and a humble spirit, for this is a great sacrifice unto Him in which He so delights in! He shall not despise us then. This is a form of worship unto The LORD in which He delights in!
Let this be who we are as followers of Christ on this Earth in this world so that we are truly a pretty city set upon a hill which cannot be hidden, so that our fire burns so bright for Him we are a beacon in the darkness for the lost! We must mirror the King of Kings. He is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life. Hallelujah to the Lamb of GOD!
📯”Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, And done that which is evil in thy sight; That thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, And be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts; And in the hidden part thou wilt make me to know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; And my mouth shall show forth thy praise. For thou delightest not in sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then wilt thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, In burnt-offering and whole burnt-offering: Then will they offer bullocks upon thine altar.”📯
