Clothed in God’s Raiment

“Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.”‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord knows our sin and this world stains us and rips us apart. Our cloths become filthy and disgusting before the Lord. He is such holy God he can not even bare to look upon us in such conditions. It burdens Him. Doesn’t it seem interesting that we are called to put on Christ?

Isn’t it awesome to know once in conversion through out our life with God we are called to put on Armor, light, Christ, and garments. These our special operations in our life. They are strategical place in the world for us.

The Armor is a defense against the works of the Enemy. (Ephesians 6:10-18) The Light is the offensive brilliance from God in the world, to attract darkness to the light. (Roman 13:12)  Christ is the image of who we have always looked like until sin. This is us created back to our natural intention and purpose.                  (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:5)

The garments are for the occasion to come to God. For example the Wedding garment and Garment of praise. One is for approaching God through heaviness where the other is to be in proper position to receive Our Bridegroom. (Matthew 22; Isaiah 61:3)

When there is a understanding of The Lord He will always clothe you for the proper occasion. The importance of this understanding is that we show up for the occasion. We should never run from the things we’re designed to over throw, conquer and war against. Be thankful we have a Lord who clothes us for each occasion we are called for.

I encourage to use each clothing for the opportunity to grow close with The Creator. He has placed us with all we need. The question do we use what he has given us as the world closes in around us? Guilty as charged!

However do you see thins text? God had a plan for Zechariah, likewise for each of us. So we can’t give in because the world and the enemy comes in to suppress us. Put on The Armor! Put on the Light and Shine! Put on Christ! Put on the Garments approved by God and we will stand through every occasion!

God bless,                                                          Godhead Disciple Ministry
