📯Deciding to follow Christ is NOT easy! It is called the narrow way for a reason. Our whole lives, before accepting Christ, the devil may allow us to live in somewhat of a peace, for he does not have to worry about us, we are harmless. However, once we accept Christ into our hearts and learn the Word and begin to do what it says, spreading the Gospel, THAT IS WHEN LIFE BECOMES A WHOLE LOT MORE DIFFICULT!
📯Following Christ is like waging war against the most deadliest enemy. Once we accept Christ, we are an automatic target, like a dart board. The enemy, satan, hurls fiery darts and flaming spears at us relentlessly to weigh us down, to take us down, to steal, to kill, and to destroy. He is strategic in his methods. God did not leave us ignorant of satan’s devices, thats why He tells us in His Word who satan is and how we can defeat him through Christ. So when we take the call, to be a watchman or a warrior for Christ, it is like taking up arms in an ancient deadly battlefield. Expect the attacks and come against them with the Truth. Jesus Christ IS the Truth. He IS the Word. He is The Most High GOD and He has already defeated satan!
📯We have been given all power, dominion, and authority over satan, so we need to walk in it! Fear not the arrow that flies by day nor the destruction that comes at noon day nor of the pestilence that walks in the darkness, for 1,000 shall fall at your side 10,000 at your right hand, but The LORD shall deliver you: FOR NO WEAPON FORGED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
📯”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”📯Isaiah 54:17📯
📯”He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”📯Psalm 91:1-7📯
