Pleasing God

What we can do to Please God?!
By faith biblically that is the only thing that pleases God. We have seen that scripture many times.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

However the Word faith in this context is dealing with being justified and living by our confession of faith. What can we do as confessed believers that are justified for God!

His word says in Isaiah 43:7,21 “Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
I would say that Acknowledging God and His will to use you for His purposes would please Him. He declares that our reason for breathing is for His Glory! Being singled and separated out for Him at His disposal is a great way to see God dispense grace and powerful workings within your personal walk. He desires to give you all you need if you worship Him! He desires true worshippers. John 4:23,24 “23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
Willingness to be used and to serve other is important. It is a direct message for others that you are aligned with the cross vertically and horizontally. It’s called a living sacrifice before mankind and God. That pleases God.
Lord, Help us to see this message of what pleases you so that it becomes a demonstration of what you see in me!

His word unified us. It entails that we are in one body. His word says, 1 Peter 2:5,9 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
If this isn’t a problem with our churches and church members I do not know what is. He makes it clear in this scriptural passage in
2 Chronicles 5:13,14 “13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers (were as one), to make (one sound) to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

We see here a promise of Order for the Lord will give us a cloud of presence. Now Presence isn’t what we’re after. It’s the indication that He Our King Is Here! So don’t chase Presence. Chase Him in unity with your breathers and Sisters. He is there where unity is ordered for Him. When we assemble ourselves to serve Him in unity with a willingness before the world we will see a change. It’s already happening! There is something about when we all speak in one accord through our orders from God by faith we please Him.
His words says again in Hebrews 13:15-16 “15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

There is much to see and do when it comes to pleasing God. Our lives are important to Him! In fact in Revelation 4:11 says,”Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
We were created to be His pleasure. Along with everything else He created He created mankind. There he gave to us the Gospel. Somewhere in between that statement and the revaluation of the revelation is where our hairs stands up, and we give a shout to the Creator YHWH.

When we diligently seek God we are rewarded! It’s by our faithfulness can we even diligently seek anything. Faithfulness determines whether or not the field is being harvested. It determines or not if the sick being prayed for and if dead bodies being raised. Faithfulness is a big deal you can count on that! You can’t expect God to reward you with a level of abundance with no effort, plan, prayer, willingness, labor. We serve Him remember?!
His word says,”That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”- Colossians 1:10
I get baffled (more like grieved) at how many people over look the pleasing factor that our walk means a lot to God. Then I’m reminded how many times I forgot and still do. Yet, It determines the usefulness of our vessels. If we are not willing to get faithful with God how can He be able to send us in places where we’re needed. He declares the ends from the beginning and somewhere in that declaration is you!
Our reasonable service to God is to show ourselves prepared to be used. Watch this, His word say,” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

There is much work in all of this, thank God for that. It keeps us preparing ourselves to be wired differently from the worlds perception. God the creator of it makes us aware His believers to not have anything to do with it outside His command. That’s big! Imagine God creating you, after creating the world and you left with one thing to see with your eyes is this world and The one thing that created it all tells you to not be conformed to the thing I set you on. In that He is saying this,”For I know the plans I have for you!” Yes! Mission impossible just got possible if you aligned with this word.
What pleases God is to see a faithful people outlined in 1 Timothy 2:1,3,8
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, andgiving of thanks, be made for all men;” “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

When need to have a community willing to be service and the server of He who created this world. We need a plan with this, we need communication. Prayer and praise pleases God. We need to be willing to praise with our mouths. Psalm 145:21
Prayer is a garentee access to God. this releases our cares upon Him. This also reveals His plans for us! Any thing we ask in His name!
John 14:13,”And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

Praise gives a mutual understanding & respect of what God is doing in our lives! We must be willing to serve in humility and not in pride thinking we alone are doing anything without His permission. We can please Him by knowing who we are. Our Identification comes from Him. Without Him we are nothing!
His words says, “The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.”-Psalm 147:11
The major thing about pleasing God is not being in the flesh. This world is a curving fixation from the Spirit. Itself greaves God.
Romans 8:8,9a “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

How do we know we are In Christ? How do we know if we are pleasing God?

“And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”-1 John 3:22-24

If we are willing to serve and be used, being unified through our calling then God will release us with His Plans to change this world. We must be ready to present ourselves blameless. Walk up rightly. Give praise to Him and honor His word. Doing this is a garentee way to please God!
