💟◼️🔥◼️🔥◼️🔥🌘✝️🌒🔥◼️🔥◼️🔥◼️💟🔥There is a time when GOD steps back and takes His hands off of us, to watch us walk forth after being purged through the fire after being placed on His potters wheel to be molded. When we fall and mess up and crack our vessels, GOD then has to take us and put us back on His potters wheel to reshape us and remold us, for He is the Potter and we are the clay. Once we are remolded we must be put back through the fire (His kiln) so we get that finished glaze. Once we come out of the fire as a finished work of art, He lets go of us and steps back, allowing us to walk on our path to see how we do. He observes us as we go about our daily lives: will we fall and crack our vessel again? Will we be hit with warfare that causes a thin break? Will we stand or will we fall when the pressure gets too hot? Will we chip our vessels on adventure?
🔥So there is a time where The LORD steps back momentarily as He allows us to be tested and tried. When the enemy comes in to attack, his main objective is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. With flaming arrows and burning spears he aims at our weak spots and fires, then he watches to see how we respond and if the warfare was effective enough to cause damage. The LORD never leaves us nor does He forsake us, but sometimes He is silent and seems absent, as Job perfectly describes to us in this passage: we go forward but He is not there, we go backward but we cannot perceive Him, He is not on the left hand to behold and He hides Himself on the right hand so we cannot see Him.
•THE TEACHER NEVER TALKS DURING THE TEST•
🔥However, even though He may seem afar off or absent or though He is silent for a moment, He is always right there, watching and guarding. He knows the path we are going to take and after we are tried and pass the testing and trials we shall surely come forth as the finest gold. This is the purpose of the parable of the Potter and the clay. GOD is creating a finished work in us just as a potter creates the finished work of his art of pottery. If we fall, and a crack is produced due to the fall, this is when He must place us back on the wheel so that He, as the Master Potter, can amend and transform us into a stronger masterpiece able to withstand distressing blows inflicted while walking in this fallen world bound under a curse with an ancient enemy prowling as a roaring lion seeking to devour and to destroy us.
🔥So if it ever seems to you that the trials never cease or that The LORD is absent or silent; if it ever comes that when you pray to Him of things which receive no answer or that you cannot hear His voice, know that you quite possibly are in the middle of a trial or test where He is allowing the enemy to sift you or to inflict burdensome hardships and He has simply stepped back just enough to where He can watch you and how you respond to the flaming arrows being hurled at you. Perhaps He is watching to see just how much pressure you can withstand, how much heat from the fire of the enemy you can endure without cracking or breaking or being completely and utterly shattered.
🔥Keep this close to your heart at all times, that The LORD loves you so dearly and He allows the enemy to do things to us that in the end only makes us stronger for the greater glory of His kingdom! Be still, and know that He is GOD, and He knows the plans that He has for you! Never stop praying, especially during these times. He is looking for those who will diligently seek His face and council in the middle of the hottest raging storm, those who never lose their faith in Him, knowing that He is always right there and in the end of it all you will come forth as pure fine gold.
🔥”Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”🔥
🔥”Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.”🔥Jeremiah 18:3-4🔥
🔥”But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”🔥
🔥”Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory.”🔥
