To Pray Is To Let Go

Though prayer we communicate our heart to GOD and we give Him our troubles and cares. We give Him permission to move on our behalf and we ask Him to extend His Grace and Mercy for us and unto others. We show Him, through prayer, that we have faith in Him, that we believe that He is listening to us, that He will take action to our requests and help us in all of the areas we need His help in.
He is our Jehovah-Jireh!
Prayer is our communication with our Father and it is very important! There is so much POWER in prayer! More than we realize! To pray, we let go of a situation and we ask GOD to take it… and let GOD take it over. When something becomes too big or is beyond what we can do, we ask GOD to just take it. He takes it from us and lifts the burden, the weight. Jesus said “Come unto Me, all ye who are weary and heavy-laden and I shall give thee rest. Take My yoke, for My yoke is easy and my burden is light”. Give it all to Him. He knows exactly what to do. Just remember, when you give something to Him in prayer, to not take it back. Don’t pray to Him about something, asking Him to take control, and then take matters back into your own hands. Take it to the cross. Leave it at the cross. Approach His throne, kneel, give it to Him, then leave it with Him. Pray, and just give your heart away. He will bind the wounds and take away the pain.
His love is for you!
He’s not against you!
Seek ye first His kingdom
And His righteousness
Then all things shall be added unto you
All of the desires of your heart
According to His perfect will for your life.

“Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man; Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah. Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah. I said unto the Lord, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord. O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.”
Psalm 140:1-8
