Dangerous Prayer

Scripture: Psalm 139
Psalms 139 verse 23 search me God and know my heart. You see God already knows that which is in your heart however what’s dangerous about this prayer is what God can reveal to us. When we open the door for Purity and Holiness to walk forth, we are asking illuminate and reveal all crevices. These Revelations can feel quite condemning however it is because of God’s love that we are chastised. He comes in and opens our eyes to all the trash we could not see having junk doesn’t condemn us. We must get over the fear of being found out. God already knows. That’s why he sees us with compassion and with love.

Scripture: Philippians 3:7-9
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. You doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do not count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the Faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of god by faith:”

Purging the flesh with the Spirit of God is leaning on the Word of God. Acting on the Word of God cuts away the flesh in out lives. Speaking the Word of God over our lives attacks the enemy and condemns the flesh in our bodies.

*Lean on God
*Act like God
*Speak like God

Be encouraged!

Challenge :Ask God to show us what he knows. Let’s haul out the junk so we can get the best and fullest like we can get with God. His riches and pursuit of his heart are full of life, grace, beauty, wonder and mercy.

Prayer: Holy Spirit show us the junk in our lives that offense you cause it to offend us like it does you. Let it smell like trash to us. Let it not be a attraction, no longer a distraction to your presence any longer. Father help us to trade this garbage for a full life promise us. In Jesus Christ Our KING AND SAVIOR! AMEN!
