Within the Weariness

Gods  Promises
I will give you rest

Scripture Reading Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy Laden, and I will give you rest. “

Study Points:

Matthew Chapter 11 there is a ending remark of our Lord Jesus Christ. He deals with workers that are heavy laden. His words was I will give you rest. Jesus speaking to the ones that are labored and have felt the burden-some exhaustion and weariness which is the production of what can be the waring down the saints( in some degree) but widely used for the productions of work and projects. In fact is himself in the word in which she said labor in Greek is kopiao which means to grow weary and tired, state of exhaustion Within toil our burdens our grief ;Work with a wearisome effort.

We all believe the establishment of Christ’s victory over hell and the devil had to Mos Def be in a state of exhaustion. Dragging and holding on to the destiny with that cross your name wearisome effort would if I can agree say that Christ understood the term labor.
But mostly interests me is his reference to himself, saying take up my “yoke”. After studying this in that context it means take up my servitude. She was saying to the Believers take your self into my bondage or verb. I don’t believe he wanted us to compare one suffering or bondage know. But to look at his work as he humbled himself to serve for mankind. (Philippians 2:7)

The reason I say this is because his words say next learn of me, “Matthew 11:29“. To me this was Jesus saying know the words of the prophets. Know the gospels of my walk. Know the word of God. We know we ought to reflect light Jesus the light of the world in which he tells us we are the same. (Matthew 5:14) Christ has called us to replicate him. Yet are we likewise to be a servant or slave like within our burdens or weariness? No. Christ to me is showing us through the biggest spiritual fight, we grow weary and feel full of discouragement only to have a reason to take a picture of the cross being reminded and knowing the works and which was done for us.

I believe this empowers a spiritually. (Isaiah 40:29) he gives strength to the weary and increases the power to the weak.
Imagine our burdens made light and easy, not because his was harder but because he finished the work perfectly. (John 17:4)
So we in reflection can walk in God’s promise for health breakthrough and rest.

Speak to the Lord through his work, Christ is the word; Revelations 19
Speak to him with Psalms and praise. Psalms 119 verse 28 ” my soul is weary ( my emotions are endless, my actions seem unprofitable, and my thoughts are discouraging.) With sorrow strengthen me according to your word.”
In Matthew 11 28 and 29 Jesus said I am meek lowly at heart you shall find rest to your soul that is in reference to Psalms 119 verse 28. However what sparks my interest deeper is in verse 30 he says “for my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
Here is a question for you, How is it that his yoke and burden is easy & light?
Wouldn’t most of us understand what he saying here about his meekness and loneliness at heart but why is it that Christ bondage and burden light and easy?

Simply because the work not on the cross but up to the cross.
He see his Commandments were lived out and it did not grieve him. Him loving us did no burden to his soul. It did not provoke him. His service to us please him, his presence was never bitter or hurtful but lovely and peaceful. His ways was easily refutable because they were unlikely livable among the rest who doubted. Yet for us we have been kissed with Love. For us, when we had entered into the presence of Jesus our relaxation was easy, it was burden-less, weightless and with out weariness. His completion on the cross made it known but also importantly possible. When he lived (1st John 5:3) explains that keeping the Commandments was not burdensome nor full of grief.

Likewise in Jeremiah 6:16, Malachi 4:4, Isaiah 8:20 they all share the same story that the word of God and its commitment are statues and laws waves that are followed that are not burdensome.

My conclusion: Since Jesus Christ is the word of God and kept the Commandments by loving one another in replace of his sin be coming sin made it easy and not burdensome for us to come under him and take upon the cup of Salvation through his own suffering.

If Christ not only fulfilled the law but did so in love. We will find our burdens and weariness come in to rest when we follow Christ in his burden and bondage he endured for us. My challenge to you in this teaching is to leave you with embracing the burden or the yolk or weariness state with the grace and command to love by standing on His Promises.

Isaiah 40:31-“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall Mount up with they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint”

Mark 12:30-“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength this is the first commandment”

2nd Corinthians 12 9-10-“And he said unto me my grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ May rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, and reproaches, in necessities, and persecutions, in distress for Christ’s sake for when I am weak then I am strong.”
