I am not my own

Bought with a price

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ” What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”

When Christ came to fulfill the law He is referring to living it out in His actions because of His divine assignment for everyone who would step foot on earth. He was making Himself by His actions of love in the law worthy to praised yet also worthy to bought. He stood at a standard that makes us know we need His Spirit to carry through our assignment through out life. The reason why Christ physically made His self valuable was a type of teaching that many call Discipleship. We know that none of our actions grants us freedom from sin and salvation but because of our faith we live a certain way and that becomes our blessing and foundation to be used before others by God. Christ was the first to show the way, because He is the only way. Christ made Himself prepared to receive His bride. We are bought with His blood. He bore on all sin to become the gap and become the Most high in our lives, within our Hearts.

We can face the hardest situations at times on our walk with God, but Christ has already over come that piece in our lives. Its becoming faithful in our trust in Him, where our obedience will shine the standard for others. When we least expect it we are able to disciple someone with our faith in Christ, and our walk through submission and love for our new bought lives by His.
It is a sacred thing, as Christians we believe that sacrifice is the highest form of love, yet its is the hardest one to achieve. That is why I believe Christ is the image of sacrifice, so that the picture is clear. It had to be done because of His love for us, it did not have to be done because of us yet it was all for us. Grace and Mercy are beautiful blessings and gifts we are able to have when walking with Jesus Christ. – Daniel Byzewski
