The Legacy of Prayer

The is no greater legacy to embrace and leave behind that the one of faithfulness in prayer. Moses was in fact a man of a constant relationship and intimacy with God. Exod. 33:11 ” The lord Spoke to Moses face to face(He presented this to Moses because of commitment) as a man speaks to His Friend.(The Lord again spoke to Him as a friend, a relationship was established.)  The only way we know that we have communication to the Father is by Jesus, and In prayer.

David talked to God Morning, Day and Night Psalms 55:17 David would evaluate His heart, and was pressed by God and spoke to create in him a clean heart and renew in him a right spirit Psalms 51:10 (You can not have this type of conviction with a relationship and prayer with Him)

Christ Himself in agony on the cross Even called out in Prayer to the Father. Even before hand He prayed to The Father about the choosing of the disciples and whom would follow him, those who did saw the private habit called (prayer)

quoting from Andrew Murray -“Christ’s life and work, His suffering and death, were founded on prayer, total dependence upon God the Father, trust in God, receiving from God , and Suffering to God”

Ephesians 6:18 “Pray at all times in the Spirit” 1 Thess 5:7 “Pray without Ceasing” Jesus Him self Prayed to God The Father in Secret Check out Luke 5:15-16 “So He Himself (often) withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

To pray In Christs Holy name is to pray as He did as well, to replicate as He did. Christ is our example because we have made him our Head, our Savior and Lord of Our Life.

Dear God, Help me strive to represent you through my life, as I commune with you everywhere I go,.Let me seek you face to face as Moses was able to. Let me Pray to you Morning Day and Night. Lord Help me be a example of Faith. Let me set my eyes on the ways of you son Jesus Christ, following and praying as He did. To receive it all from you, as you set me froth my destiny and my assignment with you O God. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

Continue to have faith in the Legacy of Prayer.
